When will I see my break-through?
Have you ever asked the question, when is it my turn to see God's hand in my life?
Perhaps your just grateful for food and shelter and this was never a question for you.
It is true that our perspective of life and God, determines our relationship with Him and others. Some think that if their life, time and passion is given to God then all their dreams will come true. If that were the case, God would be limited to our dreams. His desires for us are far beyond what we can think or imagine. Trust in God and do not lean upon your own understanding. This year will bring you surprises, some good some challenging. So seek, lean into, rely on Him and you will find rest and peace. You will have the opportunity for joy, regardless of circumstances. Come on beloved, come go with me and see beyond what you see in the natural. You will see His hand. You will see His face.

The Christmas Miracle
I love how this time of year gives us the opportunity to share our faith. Some like to talk about religion and history, others about the relationship with God.
There is a freedom to speak, an open door of friendship and opportunities to give.
Break free out of the slavery of societal pressure, and come into His peaceful rest. Rest is the gift that Jesus gave and continues to gives with His presence. Walk away from bitterness and loneliness and find ways to get closer to the One true Love that died to set us free.
So let us now live in that freedom. All it takes is to sit quietly, listen and pray. Ask to know Him. Ask for His rest. Enjoy this season without question, without complaint and discover the freedom and continue the journey that will take you through to the other side. It's up to you to receive, the greatest gift ever given.
-Peace

What if your right?
But what if there's more? What if it's love?
What If
What if you're right?
And he was just another nice guy
What if you're right?
What if it's true?
They say the cross will only make a fool of you
And what if it's true?
What if he takes his place in history
With all the prophets and the kings
Who taught us love and came in peace
But then the story ends
What then?
(Chorus)
But what if you're wrong?
What if there's more?
What if there's hope you never dreamed of hoping for?
What if you jump?
And just close your eyes?
What if the arms that catch you, catch you by surprise?
What if He's more than enough?
What if it's love?
What if you dig, What if you dig
Way down deeper than your simple-minded friends
What if you dig?
What if you find
A thousand more unanswered questions down inside
That's all you find
What if you pick apart the logic
And begin to poke the holes
What if the crown of thorns is no more
Than folklore that must be told and retold
(Chorus)
You've been running as fast as you can
You've been looking for a place you can land for so long
But what if you're wrong?
What if you jump?
And just close your eyes?
What if the arms that catch you, catch you by surprise?
What if He's more than enough?

Identity
Recently our small group leader sent a questionaire about people and outreach. It sparked a thought. What is our identity? True identity is found in Christ. We have one race, the human race, but so many separate themselves in many different groups. I wonder if we strip away all stereotypes we would find that we have so much more in common that is different. Strip away ageism. Strip away like-appearances. Strip away selfishness. Perhaps now there's a chance for outreach. And who are we reaching out to, except each other. We're people. That's enough commonality for me.
To put it in the words of a famous songwriter Matt Redmond- "When the music fades and all is stripped away and I simply come. Longing just to bring something that's of worth that will Bless Your Heart. I'll bring You more than a song. For a song in itself, is not what You have required. You search much deeper within, to the way things appear. Your looking into my heart. I'm coming back to a heart of worship. When it's all about You. All about You, Jesus.
